I was born in 1952 in a small hospital in San
Francisco located under the Bay Bridge. My
mother was the first woman patient the doctor,
who had just retired from the Navy, had ever seen.
My mother says that I was in such a hurry that they
couldn't get to the planned hospital in Oakland.
When the good doctor dutifully slapped my
behind, he instilled two great passions in me. A
love of the Navy and a love of the ocean. (Of
course this doesn't make any real sense, but I
can't explain it any other way)

I grew up in the Bay Area, attending schools in
both Castro Valley and Pleasanton. In 1970 I
graduated from Amador High School sitting next to
the same two friends I had graduated with from 8th
grade four years before. (Diplomas were handed
out in order of height. Tallest in the back row. We
occupied the last three chairs at both schools.)

From Amador to Cal State University at Hayward for
two years before moving to Portland Oregon
where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Theater
Arts at Portland State University. There I met and
married my wife, Anna.

A stint at cooking professionally while trying to
determine our course before going into radio
broadcasting and then going to work in what some
one called, "Industrial Theater" which the world
calls Fashion Shows, Conventions, Trade Shows
and Business Meetings. In short, Audio Visual or
AV. Currently I install, service and maintain AV
systems through out the Pacific Northwest for
Delta AV.

I began writing a column for our church monthly
newsletter called Eagle's Wings. (See Anna's
website for samples) The I branched out into skits
and puppet shows for the church. From there it
was short hop into novels. See MY Work for
samples.

I will be adding a typical Press Bio as soon as I can.
